Nominate Right 2004- John Edwards for Prez
"We are tied to together in a Single garment of destiny."

The Quote above by Martin Luther King was often invoked by former Presidential hopeful Dick Gephardt. In many was that quote would solve the worlds problems if we applied that collectivist concept.

The days of powerful unions, the community bowling club, community building are over. Fortunately and unfortunately I learned this as a precinct captain in the Iowa caucus. I watched as a Dick Gephardt supporter cried as she threw her support to John Edwards in the re-alignment after failing the 15% viability test.

She cried because her champion for the working man, Dick Gephardt, was defeated. However, her pain speaks to a broader issue, is the working man viable or is America simply for sale to the highest bidder.

Why didn't organize labor have the numbers to deliver? Perhaps that Unions are inept. But the Unions created the middle class. Perhaps there are infact, fewer people in the middle class under this tax-shift regime and Big labor futher underscore this point.

I am a John Edwards supporter to my core. However, the Gephardt-Big Labor implosion is unsettling and as Democrats we must address it. Building the middle class through the trade unions is a "Centrist" issue and Conservative Dems should fight for this territory.

After all, these are the same men and women COWARD DEAN says are the guys with the confederate flag and gun rack on their cars. Bullshit, these are the men and women who weep openly when they feel America is not fighting for them.

How to take out Howard Dean?

1. The Hopefuls should get out of one anothers way after they lose or do no harm to one another.

What do I mean? Dick Gephardt and John Kerry should throw their support, endorsement and resources behind John Edwards when they lose Iowa and New Hampshire respectively.

"Taken together Moderates have the numbers but, we can't beat something with nothing."

Come in Second or a strong third in New Hampshire

2. Play the enternal class card within Black America.

Jesse Jackson and his son are insiders, who are cowing down to powerful interest by prematurely supporting Dean. John Edwards should take his case to Black America. Get on the Tom Joyner Morning show, show up at a lil john and eastside boyz concert, maybe extreme but supporters please get the point and make your case, counselor America is depending on you. Al Sharpton illuminates this divide in Black America. Jesse Jackson jr., a great man, is out of touch with the real america.

Win South Carolina

3. Connect Howard Dean to Al Gore in the most negative ways.

Gore Epitomizes the 'insider' and Dean fashsions his self as an outsider. Make the link and destroy the Howard Dean argument. The future begins now.

Win Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico

4. Connect Dean with George McGovern, Walter Mondale, and Micheal Dukakis in effect to failure.

5. Get Nasty

6. Make the case that America will not win by looking back.

7. Show that Al Gore would only recieve 259 electoral votes today if he won all his states in 2004.

8 . Drive home the point that Democrats need the South. No Dem in the 20th century has won the Presidency without 5
